Back in Perth!

Misty is back! Back to household chores & educator-in-the-making.

For some reason, coming back to Perth felt really good. Away frm the nitty-gritties of the hectic Singaporean lifestyle. =P

Misty is a big fan of him. Love him for his attitude, the way he performs & needless to say, the bad-boy image. And after reading his bio book, Misty actually felt/understand some things that words can't describe. Dun ask wad, coz' she dunno, but she juz understand. Mayb he is a Misfit too.

Today was a loooonnng day. Emotionally & mentally draining. It's very disturbing. But that's wad GFs are for. Went for bitch-chat session with Tai-tai Goh. Tai-tai Goh was soooo sweet, bus-ed it down to town ASAP after I called her. Thank you sooo much, sweetie!

to shop for CNY home decorations!

Altho' the crowd wasn't as bad as the Eve, there's still a lot of people there. More people see than people buy, juz like us, go look see look see. Dunno why, mayb it's been a crappy day, but CNY juz dun feel as happening as before. At least not as happening as 15 yrs back, coz' the ang-baos getting lesser !!! =p


This coming CNY is in the year of the Piggy, thus everywhere is pig, piggy, piggies! Even Misty can't resist buying piggy decor for the house.

Babel + Loyang Tua Pek Gong

Can anyone who has watched Babel, tell me what the movie is trying to say? Coz' Misty got really lost half way thru'. Tot I understood, but a bit like no meaning.

Does it mean that if only people are willing to listen, then actually the world is a simpler place to live in? Listening takes time & effort & compassion, and how many people really do haf the patience & the energy to do so for others, especially to total strangers who r really in need of help?

Tink this movie is a lil' too cheem for the Misfit, pluz Mr. Pitt din look all that gd in the movie.

J-Meister, Master & Misty randomly did several things in the middle of the nite. So random that it juz happened in the past 3 hrs??

Dunno who juz suddenly suggested to go pray-pray at Loyang, the famous Tua Pek Gong temple, and Master happily say that he is gng to bring me there for V-Day coz' it's veri lomantic to be near the sea.

Anyway, so we went and to my amazement, there r actually quite a bit of crowd. at 1am!! Followed the boys thru' the praying procedure and something that caught my eye was a piece of rock in the middle of the compound.

According to J-Meister, you haf to look at the rock for lombers, den if you lucky, u will see the lombers in the incense smoke, or sumthing like that. So of coz, I oso see... 15 mins of squatting there w J-Meister, no lombers at all. Den saw this sign, "Please do not enter if you haf eaten pork today." (-_-)

Is that the reason y no lombers?!?!?!

And in the end, we actually end up in some kopi-tiam in Tampines having Heinkein. On a Monday night! *shrugz*

Status Vs. Recognition

And, which is more impt?

If you are someone who was born into a freaking rich family, you haf the status of a rich person, but recognition?? unless do sumthing great/different ? or u will still be living in the shadows of your family's richness.

or

If you are a murderer/thief/etc., you r recognise for ur misdeeds, but definately no status of the rich and "famous"?

Poly Mates Get Together!

Misty's poly mates gathered together at EW for a good catch up... Misty haven seen them for a really long tym... and a few of them.. for years! The group is still as chirpy-blur-blur-full-of-laughter, even tho' most of us are already working.

But Mates, let Misty applaud all of you, coz' al of you live super-duper far away and yet u guys made the tym & effort to come down. Thank you sooo much!!

Tho' the arrangement was a lil' messy and all of them got lost & detoured to get to EW, and our gathering will awiz haf someone missing, it was all good to see all of them again. As usual, the late was very late, and the hungry was not hungry.. and the blur is still very blur!!

The past 2 weeks

People who visit Singapore as a tourist attraction, here on short holidays, or a short stay for work assignments, most of them will say " Sg is a good place, convenient, safe... etc.."

I can't say no to those comments but I think it's a lil' boring?? No? This trip back after a year, seems to make Sg a lil' more dull den ever, or is that age has caught up and I'm no longer partying as hard?

Anyway several things have been up... to keep Misty busy for now.
(PS: This is a really long blog.. even i update oso feel tiring, so if dun feel like carry on better stop here =P)

My new place - Edel Weiss Park @ Changi. Of all the houses the Tee family has moved into, this is my fav. Tho' its the smallest place ever, it has finally got the feel of a "HOME". And of coz proudly to say, Misty did most of the decor herself, except for a few "out-of-place" fengshui looking things done by Mr. T himself.

So nice a not? Could haf been better, but coz' we had to do everything in a rush, according to the Fengshui Master's auspicious date... but i tink its alrite alrite for now. But Misty is still the ah-sam of the house. sighz.. perth like this, sg oso like this. Mrs T. says that this maid from Perth is expensive, juz becoz haf degree?!?!

Why expnsive? Coz Misty went for her plastic surgery to remove that scar on the corner of her eye.. and the bill came up to almost SGD 3 grand. Now, Misty has to go for daily bio-laser treatments, and all seems well rite now.. so by the end of this week, it should be looking good. But from Changi to Gleneagles via taxi is damn expensive and damn far!! %^&*@$%$#$!!!!
SO hopefully, all will be well spent.

And this is the new place in Sg that everyone has been letching on - - - VIVOCITY. Misty tinks this place is not fantastic at all. All it has is juz that its huge. That's abt it. Shopping ain't fun.

But there's this place which Misty tot was interesting, den again, it's prob juz the black black decor. It got a pretty cool blacky-blackish name as well.

So I think tt's about it for Vivocity... and of coz, the new clubbing place which Misty haven checked out yet - St James PowerStation tt consists of 6 different clubs? Dragonfly is one of them which Mr T himself has been frequenting.. Juz imgaine bumming into him there, or rather be seen with him there... (-_-)"

Oh oh... then there is the alrite alrite Ramu's Nasi Bryani @ YCK Rd. Misty usually dun like to eat South Indian food coz' the places in Sg are usually quite.. erm.. "dirty"... But this place is really different. It's air-conditioned, clean, bright, prices are reasonable and most imptly, food is YUMMY!!

The service is good as well, compared to most mamak stalls around Sg... People who haf been to Ramu's can definately tell the difference, juz compare its neighbouring Indian food stalls.
