Retail Therapy

Retail therapy is good for health but bad for the pocket! Misty has been shopping for 2 days and she's on a buying-high *gulpz* minus the pocket part. Even tho' sale in Perth is not as gd as Melb, but still so many cheap bargains. Good deals until Misty oso tink its safer to snip her card into half... -_-"

The best deal have to be the dress for Chrissy. Farking Cheap. AUD$20 for a evening/party baby doll dress. Similar design to Wayne Cooper/Zimmerman is gng for approx $380-$500. ARrrggGGGHhhh! But dun haf Misty's size?!?! Even Master say it was a gd buy.

Haha... But when Master heard the damage so far, he freaked out... *major gulpz* -_-'''

Anyway, tink there will be more to go next week before Misty returns to Sg for a Food Vengence. hehee... Fark the diet la. X'mas oso eat until explode liao. @ least did work out a lil' by shopping. =p

Christmas 2006

Woah.. This is it, it finished in a blink of the eye, tho' we spent most of out tym snoozing thru' the festive season.

This Christmas is very different from the past ones I spent in Sg. Besides the fact that its the 1st in Perth, with Master, it's one heartwarming x'mas I had ever spent. Went to the Englishman's hse for a traditional English dinner, met a fellow Sg there and opened my 1st X'mas cracker in my entire life! Even Master felt touched & warmed up by their friendly gesture and took all the trouble to prep that evening, etc... The hse was nicely dressed up with X'mas deco, candles, food, etc... Thank you Mr. Perry & Miss Junko. (",)

Followed Master to work on Fri morning and finally haf a chance to see how the newspaper-wrapper machine look like up-close. Super old. Looks at least twice as old as me. Super retro. Super deafening. I was in there for about 1/2 hr and I felt as if my ears were bursting!

Misty was in the shower when 1 side of her ears got water, so follow the above theory rite?!? knn! When Misty did it, the other ear oso kena water flow in, WTF!?! Now both ears got water inside and its farking painful la.. $&*$#$%&* !!! and worse still, when Misty move ard, can feel the water wobbling ard inside the ears... ~(-_-)~

He said it ain't a bad thing to haf my mind occupied with it, as it may come in handy. But all think and can't do anything about it juz sux... coz' it gives Misty INSOMIA! wtf.

Oh well, gonna give my hand at making grilled Indo chicken for the 1st time. So lets hope we dun get a tummy rambling laterz... =P

Back from Melbourne

... and I'm missing it already!!

Well, as the trip was w my aunty, and those who r close to me wld know... "being quarrelsome is a trait that runs in the family", it was quite a "fed-up" trip. But nonetheless, it was still gd coz I managed to catch up w Ling, Nic, Amos, Danny, Adrina, Zariq and some interesting pple I met up along the way... and of coz, of coz, the shopping is good, the food is good... visited a few new places... So, this is pretty much it for my 5 days in Melb. Surprisingly, I did not try my hand @ Crown and more surprisingly, Misty did MINIMAL shopping! Nothing damaging... bought Master stuff from Laguna & T2, which as expected, he liked them more than anything designer that I would usually buy. For once, he said I used my brain.. So mean rite, buy present still like this say me!!

Haf to be kitchenhand, telephone operator, cleaner, driver... all in one job, with so lil' pay!! -_-" The place had poor ventilation as well... juz like pizza in the oven... plus its summer now & its farking bloody hot! and poor Master lost weight while Misty was away... =(

Someone told me this story:

One morning, this guy got ready for work and was having his morning coffee when his dotter accidently bumped into him and spilled his coffee all over his white crisp shirt. He got so angry that he spent a good amount of time screaming & scolding his dotter before he realised that he was pressed for time and he needed to iron a new shirt and get changed. He had to send his dotter to school b4 getting to work because he spent so much tym scolding her that she missed her school bus. His dotter was late for sch. He sped thru the lights and was stopped by a traffic police who issued him a speeding fine. By the time he got to work, he was so late that his boss gave him a gd one.

So who's fault is it for this whole string of events?

a) The dotter
b) The coffee
c) The traffic police
d) Himself

If the man had controlled his emotions, and not spent time chiding his dotter, perhaps all this wld not haf happened. Afterall, what happened, happened. And nothing else can be done to change the fact and the best solution wld be take things in stride and make the best out of the worst situation.

Moral of the story: We can control 90% of things happening and 10% juz can't be help. If we can better control our emotions, things mite juz work out for the better.

EASIER SAID THAN DONE... ...

This fren of mine oso told me about having expectations... of coz, the usual known to the entire universe - The higher expectations you haf, the harder u fall... Duh! But... what sets the expectations in the 1st place? It's from the start of the r'ship. E.g. If your bf picks you up from work everyday & spend time with u, and after some time, he juz do it lesser & lesser... of coz the gf will kick up a fuss la... den the bf will be wondering WTF. Or, from the start your gf doesn't cook for you, den ocassionally she does it, u will surely appreciate more? coz u did not expect her to do it, and when she does, its a bonus?!?

Misty has been having a rough week with Master.. its the same vicious cycle that Misty can't seem to get out of.. Here, is the misfitted tt had done wrong or the r'ship, at the start, is already misfitted?

I need a plastic surgeon

This was taken abt 2 months after the accident... The misfitted scar was red n bumpy. I dunno why this pic is like tt.. no matter hw i save it, it still appears like tt after i upload it. So jus turn ur screen/monitor 90 degrees.

Now its abt 5 mths... not as red.. and with the help of makeup.. its nt so obvious. But still, I feel like swearing at pple who stare at my scar, while talking to me or serving me... KNN

Talking about abt swearing, on Monday, Misty, Master & Misty Aunty will go down to Blackburne office to swear @ our property manger... She's a fucking real CCB! Dare to send us notice for breach of agreement when she did not turn up for the inspection. Fucking bitch.. mishandle the case, still dare to do this. $I@#$&&^%$*(^% !!!!!

It's been a long week... work work work.

And falling sick!

BUT all is not lost coz Misty is gng to Melb next week! YAY!!!

Fully paid trip from my fav aunty! How nice is tt.. I'm one step closer to my X'mas wish! But then hoh, Master may not go coz he say he wanna work. Den haf to leave Master alone for a few days. It may not be a bad thing, so he can miss me and understand the imptance of my presence.

Now we are one hr fwd... u think it makes a diff? i doubt it for my misfitted lifestyle.. =P

Lotons @ Rotto

SUPER SEH SEH TONG!!!

With the usual misfitted sleeping patterns, Misty and Master went to work without sleep. Had to drive to Vic Quay @ Freo coz Master was working thru the night. Now I finally know how it feels to drive without sleep. Damn scary, its farking dangerous coz ur road/drive senses is like only half working.

With a cranky mind, no sleep and Perth's cranky weather (Today is the 1st Official day of Summer, w/c was ironically cold as compared to weeks b4), Misty was den told tt the ferry ride to Rotto was abt 1hr. *faintz* Misty has terrible motion sickness.. and terrible means REALLY TERRIBLE!

For those of you who haven been to Rotto and wanting to go there, take a look at this!

Tho Misty is a student, Misty still have to pay adult price coz student only until 16 yrs. And 51 monies for a trip... no way I wld haf gone (so farking ex n still haf motion sickness!) BUT this is a work trip so bo-bianz and its free anyway coz coy covered... and the ferry quite big, like those to Batam.

BUT still... Misty felt really sick after 10 mins. The ferry trip was only 25 mins n the waters were choppy, nt as bad as the last trip fishing... (Yeah Mota, laff ur head out if u read dis, I'm weak, wadever) Had to rushed to the toilet immediately after getting off... toilet details, haha, I leave out, but i did haf mackers for brekky so... use ur imagination =p

Luckily, kind Rob din send me into the freezer for the job or I wun haf fainted, yet he was oso kind enuff to give me a box of shoelaces with a dead cockroach to beep beep with. A dead cockroach is still a cockroach.

Anyway a bit of Rottnest here for the sake of saying "Yeah I've been there.." coz as usual my ah-gian Master said that since the trip was paid for, we shld stay n take a look ard so as not to waste the 51 monies.

From the jetty. I wld say tt if u 1st set foot, the island looks interesting for 5 mins. And just that 5 mins after u read these boards.

Well, Misty me not really into cycling around the island or camping or paying 51 monies to puke and come all the way here to tan, swim or snorkel. So I supposed unless u are the islander, or a naturalist, or enjoy a serene day out w ur family/frens, or an Aboriginal person to visit the burial grounds, Rotto has quite limited activities - tho' they also have a golf range cum country club, chalets for rent, a free-entry art gallery, a "opening-soon" spa centre, and 3 cafes-of-sort to la-kopi... and also to mention, prices for F&B not value for quality.

This is, I wld suppose, the most nice-comfy place to sit ard. We sat here for 1.5 hrs with Aunty Sally, while waiting for the ferry. But not conducive if u haven slept in 24 hrs & tired & cranky coz the breeze wld cradle you to la-la land.

This lil' fella did brighten up my day a lil... Initially dunno wtf it was, look like a mini-joey (due to its paws) yet look like rat-mouse @ the same time... until I was beeping the souveniors and the tag says "Quokka". Yes, this is the very same animal that is on the weekly Thurs barang-barang-garang-guni classifieds, and not some bird, according to my mean english fren who haven step foot on the island yet =p

So, alas, Misty did anchored on Rottnest Island, 2006 AD, 1 December.
