Mambo 2007

This is the so-called "Event of the Semester". It happens every semester, welcoming the freshies from the 4 unis. But old farties like us since 2005 have been attending this event that it has become the "Event for Old Farties + Freshies". Regardless of climate, gender, race or uni, all people attending the event will try to put on their best dress and appear glam... at Metro's (-_-)"

Actually its easy to tell btwn the Old Farties & the Freshies, besides the fact that you will see old faces. Juz by the dressing. Old Farties dress up like its juz another nite out meeting other old farties, while Freshies dress to make a statement, make their presence felt... you know.. the usual girl-meet-guy stuff. It's funny to reflect back how silly (Misty) gers can be... to over-dress for such events, or juz to buy another typical clubbing top/dress/etc.

Misty tot this Mambo was definately better [Tho' the music still bad & drinks still sux...]than the last one, more people, more dressy... but I hated it while I was waiting for the rest to come... Coz' the freshies are so freaking skinny. *arrghhh evil tots - you all juz wait, wait till winter when u haf to eat more... %*#^&*$%&*!!!* Some look really gd... others look as if they're Ethopians.

It's the time of the semester, AGAIN. With tons of readings & assignmts waiting for me with a big wide smile. Somehow, this sem is worse than the last. Even tho' Misty only has 3 days of uni. It sux to feel as if you haf time on ur hands when u actually haf none!!

And as usual, when one gets bogged down by 1 thing, the rest starts piling in as well.

Somehow, I think I fall into the category of Late-Maturing Girls when I was in my Adolescence stage of my life, not that I am like to be a leader, but the fact that I haf difficulty handling stress and may haf low ratings on my psych-health... WTF! =P

And... someone told me... It's not that I'm stressed out by my daily work, but I stress myself for nothing. A while ago, sometym back, someone else commented that I'm a worrier. Another said I think too much...

SO AM I A WORRIER? OR I JUZ THINK TOO MUCH?

Now, juz yest, someone told me I like to be unhapppy. WTF!?!?! who the hell in this world likes to be unhappy. or maybe I like to think that I'm unhappy so I do random things to make me happy and actually I'm jeopardising other "stable-happy" things in my life. *LOST*

Misty thinks she's juz a random Misfit that juz dun fit in the "normal" society. So random that the atoms are not stable, they can randomly bounce off.

What is an effective teacher?

An effective teacher is one who cares, has good classrm mgt, cool, friendly, enthusiastic abt teaching... blah blah .... and this whole list can go on and on...

Misty honestly thinks teachers out there.... do they, till today, really care abt education, care abt educating the future generation, or is it juz a job? juz for the money?

Being a student for 20 years of my life, I honestly cant rem any teacher who haf taught me whom left a deep impression, who really really enriched my life with the s0-called-values or experiences... tt's quite sad. (- -)

And with the world and its happenings.... what have education actually done for us? turn us into educated barbarians?

Somehow, Education lost its way.... =P

Munching Weekend

Had a Curtin+UWA outing with all these fun-loving pple last weekend. Had dinner at Ciao Italia, drinks at Llama & Brisbane... mini-BBQ at home... My,my the food is good, the company's great and the heavy weighing scales!!
